Website Designing

And the posts keep on coming today.....

so.... started designing my website..... looking at the different layouts and what i could use the space effectively for...

Decided i need at least:
* header
* hyperlinks to other pages on the site such as:
- home
- bio
- contact
- photos
- events
- illustrations
- photography
- thumbnail ideas
- live project information
- and overall finished pieces of work
* images on homepage
* possible rolling boxes that show links to facebook and blogger and recent updates on them as well as links to the sites
* information about the site and myself with a link attached at end to take viewer to my bio page

Ive not decided on colour of my website yet but thinking that i may use my favourite colour of blue as main colour but use other contrasting colours so the site is bright and bold and reflects my personality to a degree....

I really like the layout of Radio 1s website - its colourful, bright but easy to navigate and read and see everything.... just how i want my website to be.... also it never gets boring... something changes often like the colour on main background header and the images change too.... its a versatile website that can be adapted easily....

NOTE TO SELF: when it comes to designing my website i need to ensure that the screen resolution is 72pixels/inch and the overall page size needs to be changed to pixels too....

KMFM Extra

New brief today :) met the client too and got a fair bit of useful information :) designing logo for the new radio station that is overtaking KISS from the Kent area.... new hit radio here we come!! :)

So not too bad a day after the string art incident this morning WHICH im still not impressed about =/

Quite looking forward to this brief - designing a new logo and helping out with designing the website for the new 'young' KMFM Extra Radio Show.

Started already looking at different logos from other sites and have a rough idea of what and how i want to portray the station and strapline.... 

Gonna be interesting to try and work things out. Will keep you updated :)

BUT for now - back to finishing my packaging project =/ GRR - perfumes! and completing my final design for the Laura Thomas - Museumaker project :)

Stressful!! Pin Art!

Ok... so started the advertising brief for Laura Thomas and The Museumaker project... thought sorted I've got it easy seeing as Im big into the string art designs and the brief asks for you to create a poster including your own 'view' and 'interpretation' of Laura's work...

hmm knowing that i enjoy and often do pin art designs you'd think i would be clever enough not to choose THE most COMPLICATED design I probably could!!

Well.... to be honest not the most complicated but the smallest and therefore the most fiddliest....

Finally finished the design last night (2am) - all completed - moved it this morning and it all unravelled and typical me not expecting this didn't take photos when finished!

Just hoping that I can get it sorted before i have to present my ideas..... it took me forever =[ not looking forward to redoing this..... 

officially starting to dislike the project BUT I will do it no matter what it takes and how much sleep i loose over it =/ ok... maybe not - sleeps important =]

I do refuse to give up though!!
